As a Diocesan Group we seek to be a visible sign for Justice and Peace in the Diocese and wider community. We seek to raise awareness of peace and justice issues, and provide a forum and service for all individuals and groups working for Justice and Peace.
Vision, Mission and Values
We seek to share a vision of the world in which people can live in peace, respecting the dignity of each and everyone and recognising our duty to care responsibly for God’s creation – our Common Home.
Our Aim
As a Commission we aim to:
- explore and understand issues of justice and peace
- share our concerns with others in the diocese
- undertake practical actions and campaign for change
- understand the issues in the context of our faith and of Catholic Social Teaching
- Celebrate all the good things that are already happening in our Diocese, our parishes and in our schools.
